    Murals and Mimosas Tour

In case you haven’t heard, Nashville is home to some famously photogenic murals, and this tour will take you to see the best of them. The trip around town is punctuated with stops at rooftops and other drink destinations around town, so you can get your sip on as you sightsee.

This is a great way to see several popular neighborhoods like 12 South & East Nashville without burdening yourself with tons of prep and planning. Just be ready to rub shoulders with the many bachelorette parties that descend on Music City every year. If that’s not this weekend’s vibe, you’ve been warned.

    Printers Alley

This strip is a hub for Nashville nightlife, but it also packs some history. Once a parking lot for horses and the center of the city’s vibrant printing industry, today it’s THE place to play in Music City, dotted with saloons, clubs, and speakeasies.

The alley is also fantastically photogenic, so dress to impress and get some snaps here to commemorate your trip! Notable spots to stop at are Skull’s Rainbow Room—a jazz lounge famous for its late-night burlesque show, Black Rabbit—a bar and eatery in the image of old-school speakeasies, and the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, which has live music seven nights a week.

    Arrington Vineyards

This winery nestled in the hills 25 miles outside of town is owned by Country Music star Kix Brooks, which makes it a very “Nashville” thing to do, despite the journey. They offer tastings, wine flights, charcuterie, and various scenic settings to imbibe in, from the tasting lodge to the saloon or barn with live music. This is a great way to get out of town and see some countryside while experiencing Music City, but if you need a ride, our trusted partners can help with that.

    Spas

    Spa Nashville

Sprinkle a little self-care on your Nashville adventures.

    Adagio Massage Co & Spa

Just a hop, skip, and a boot scoot from downtown, Adagio is an oasis of tranquility with a service menu that reads like a love letter to relaxation. Treat yourself to one of their legendary massages and facials to make this a girls trip to remember. You’ll walk out floating through the air, ready to hit your next big trick.

    Escape Day Spa

Get out of town! No seriously, this place is a bit out of Nashville, but that makes it the perfect escape from all that boogie within the city. Expert therapists and a tranquil environment make it the perfect place to hang up your cowgirl boots for an hour or two. The location south of Nashville also puts it on the way to Arrington Vineyards. You catch our drift?

    Mokara Spa

This piece of pamper paradise is tucked inside the swanky Omni Nashville Hotel, and it fits the fancy bill!

Feel like Nashville royalty as you dip into the pool, unwind in the hot tub, or let off some steam in the sauna. It’s a spa-tacular world with something for everyone in your group: you can get pampered, squeeze in a workout, or even just zone out in the relaxation room. This could be your perfect pit stop on the way to the Nashville girls weekend of a lifetime.

    Bars & Restaurants

    L.A. Jackson

Alright, Nashville-bound ladies, if you’re on the prowl for the spot where chic meets cheeky, then strut your boots over to L.A. Jackson! Perched atop the Thompson Nashville Hotel in the oh-so-hip Gulch neighborhood, this rooftop bar is a skyline-soaking, “look where we are!” kind of experience.

Think mid-century glam with a twist of Southern charm, where every corner is dying to be featured on your social media. Whether you’re here for the craft beers that have more personality than a honky-tonk ballad, the wines curated like a country music hall of fame, or the seasonal cocktails that change faster than Nashville weather – L.A. Jackson serves it all with style.

This place is a bachelorette magnet for all the right reasons. To snag the best spot for your squad, plan ahead!

    Bobby Hotel

The rooftop bar atop this downtown hotel is a quirky, sky-high oasis complete with a 1956 Scenicruiser bus that’s parked its wheels and opened its doors.

Clink glasses inside a vintage bus-turned-bar, sipping on imaginative concoctions, delicious craft beers, or fresh, natural wines. But it’s not all about the bus: dip your toes into a chic pool, turning those steamy Tennessee nights into a splashy, moonlit frolic. It’s retro, it’s refreshing, and it’s the perfect spot to chillax before hitting the nearby Broadway hustle.

    Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social is a playground for grown-ups. Besides delicious drinks and mouth-watering fare, this spot comes with a bowling alley, dipping pools, an Airstream trailer, and more. It’s a great place to start your night out before heading out to explore downtown or the nearby waterfront.

    Hampton Social

Add a splash of coastal chic to your Nashville girls weekend! For a memorable brunch spot that can offer way more than your average eggs Benny, gather your girlfriends and head to this inland seaside haven. The menu is brimming with fresh seafood, the decor is stylish and elegant, and the rosé is flowing. There are even private spaces on the second floor if your crew wants the VIP experience before parting ways.

    Meet Kush & Ana

    Nashville Enthusiasts

We are Kush & Ana Ratwani. We moved to Nashville in 2020 for Kush’s fellowship at Vanderbilt. When we moved here, the once vibrant music city, full of aspiring songwriters trying to be the next Carrie Underwood and pedal taverns full of brides to be was in a state of hibernation due to COVID. However, that was short-lived, and Nashville is now back to full speed!

We have loved living in Nashville so much so over the last few years that we even got married here in 2021! We feel Nashville has so much to offer, and it would take months to experience everything. From boutique shops to James Beard award-winning restaurants, who can forget live music every night on Broadway?

We started “Grits & Grace” to blog about all of our favorite spots, highlighting why we love Nashville and why we firmly believe it’s the best city in the country!

Let us be your local tour guides on your journey to the Music City.
